Negative thinking patterns are hard to break. The world is full of negative people. We’re surrounded by a lot of negativity, and it’s hard to be positive when you feel like the whole world is against you.
When we say “I am” over and over again, we are creating a new reality for ourselves – one that allows us to experience the life that we want to live. You can use affirmations to change your negative thinking patterns and replace or reframe them with positive ones!
Undoubtedly, positive affirmations are an easy way to make your life better! They can help improve your self-esteem, bring clarity into situations in which you find yourself stuck or confused, increase productivity at work and home (and other areas), create more energy and motivation in all aspects of your life…the list goes on!
The 3 Ps Of Affirmations
But before affirming yourself, you need to prepare – that’s why you need to know the 3 Ps of Affirmations. These are flowing: 1. Present tense 2. Personal and 3. Positive.
Use present tense in your affirmation while you writing: What you want to affirm right now and the outcome of your affirmation. Do not use future tense it will simply remind you that this is what you want in general, 5 or 10 years from now – no good!
Name three things that support or strengthen your affirmation: People, things, or events objective realities like the sun rising every morning, etc. Be as specific as possible – really see yourself achieve each aspect.
When you write your daily affirmation, you need to be more personal. Write an affirmation about yourself! Imagine how good it feels to be more confident yourself – write that emotional state with positivity.
You can combine both positive and negative affirmations with these two types of sentences: I like the way ________ (whatever) turns out (how you want things to develop)…or rather not/let’s stop doing this nonsense now..your wording is up to yourself.
Hence, positive thinking is a must for everyone. This technique is very simple and easy to do. Just visualize yourself being successful in the future and being happy with what you have achieved.
You need to use a positive word or phrase in your affirmation. It will remind you that this is what you want and it will also inspire you to keep going! Try these examples: I am confident, I am successful, I am powerful, I am beautiful, I am healthy, etc. Positive words and phrases are always better than negative
You have the power to create positive thoughts, but first, you need to know how! Why affirmations are so powerful is explained in this video by Dr. Joe Vitale of The Secret (Law of Attraction). Affirmations are a great way to boost your self-confidence, vibrant yourself and increase your sense of well-being every day!
Moreover, this will help you change your negative thinking patterns and is the power of affirmations. Positive affirmations will help you achieve your goals in life, help you concentrate on achieving certain things in life, give you the power to make changes in yourself and others around you – all while giving you a sense of confidence that helps motivate people around us!
